Adam Slutsky

Founder & Partner

Prior to founding Gather Ventures, Adam was the co-founder/COO/CFO of Moviefone (NASDAQ: MOFN), the CEO of Mimeo.com, and the President of Tough Mudder.

While serving on the Advisory Board of Canyon Ranch Resorts, Adam discovered he had early onset of coronary artery disease. After moving to a vegan lifestyle, the disease began to reverse. Recognizing the value of plant-based eating, Adam decided to create Gather Ventures to invest in and actively mentor founders building companies that improve human health and the health of the planet via increased plant-based food consumption.

Adam graduated with a B.S. from Cornell University and has an MBA from Columbia Business School

Daniel Maffezzoli

Principal

Daniel supports Gather's investment process from sourcing to execution and works closely with our existing portfolio on their operations and strategy. Daniel is particularly passionate about technology and health/wellness/nutrition and he is focused on finding plant-based winners at the intersection of those categories.

Prior to joining Gather, Daniel spent three years at AF Ventures (formerly AccelFoods), a leading early-to-growth consumer VC with a focus on CPG food and beverage.

Daniel holds a B.A. with Distinction from Kenyon College where he studied biology and modern languages and played varsity lacrosse.
